videoNEXT introduces Security Knowledge Manager (SKM), an open, standards-based software solution that works with almost any IP, digital, or analog camera; runs on any Intel or compatible server; and utilizes existing security and data infrastructure. SKM resides on a standard network server or server cluster. It stores and manages video from all department cameras. A common browser-based interface allows the administrator to seamlessly view all of the cameras' live images and archived video. The interface also features built-in virtual joystick controls to operate the pan/tilt/zoom cameras remotely. SSL and AES encryption ensure the security of the entire system.
